Now that we know about all of the preventative properties flax has to offer, what’s our plan for consuming it? In a fast-paced culture where we are all challenged with remembering to take our vitamins or medications regularly how can we afford to make time to take flax?
Actually, consuming flax is as easy as consuming food -if you do it right. Following are our tips for easy ways to make flax a priority in your health profile routine. And for those of you who are super on the go, and who need a little more persuasion to take flax, we are couching these tips within the confines of delicious and easy to consume recipes that won’t disappoint.
Add it to your favorite smoothie: we recommend the Fat Flush Fruit Smoothie:
Fat Flush Fruit Smoothie
• 1 cup – Fresh or frozen fruit
• 2 Tbsp – Protein powder
• 8 oz – Cran-water or plain water
• 2 Tbsp – Milled Golden Flax Seed
• 1/4 tsp – Stevia Plus to taste (optional)
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend for 2-3 minutes
The Fat Flush Plan by Ann Gittleman recommends flax seed in the daily cleanse
Have it a in Quick Cocktail: How about our Long Life Cocktail?
Long Life Cocktail
• 12 oz bag of cranberries
• 4 cups of purified water
• Stevia Plus (optional) added for sweetness
• 1 Tbsp – Ground Omega Golden Flax Seed
1. Boil cranberries in a large saucepan until all the berries pop.
2. Strain the juice.
3. Fill a 32 oz water bottle with 4 oz of the
unsweetened cranberry juice and 28 oz. of water.
4. Stir in the Ground Omega Golden Flax Seed
Recommended twice daily (morning and evening) to balance hormones and increase elimination.
Sprinkle it ground on your favorite salad: anytime, anywhere
This option doesn’t even require cooking! Sprinkle it on your favorite salad, wherever you may find it, and enjoy. The flax will add a nutty flavor to your food, but that’s better than consuming high-in-fat walnuts, right?
